Sea Grass, 2016 Kilnformed Glass, Steel, Steel Wire, Milled Polycarbonate 80’ long, 35’ wide, 12’ tall (from ceiling) Visitor Center, Baltimore Harbor, MD Inspired by the aquatic grasses of the Chesapeake Bay, the site-specific sculpture takes the form of eelgrass; always in motion, the glass moves with subtle air currents and reflects light upon the ceiling in dynamic displays during the day.
